​Integrative/Holistic Nutrition:

Integrative/holistic nutrition is part of the integrative health model that looks at how food impacts our overall wellbeing and how it can be leveraged to help us feel our best. What we put in our bodies can have a direct impact on our physical, mental and social/emotional wellbeing, and understanding what the body is asking for can guide us towards correcting deficiencies or imbalances that can lead to health issues.

Whether we are truly aware or not, nutrition impacts who we are as individuals today and helps shape our future selves. It impacts how we show up every day and is a foundational block in helping us live the life we want to live.

I truly believe that food can act as medicine and is foundational pillar in moving towards a centered and grounded self. What we eat matters. What we think matters. How we move matters. By listening and hearing the body, we can begin to heal from the inside out and achieve our health and life goals, regardless of what they are.
About Me
Hi! My name is Melissa. I am an integrative health practitioner with a special interest in using whole foods as a tool for disease prevention, pain management, supporting individuals with chronic health conditions and through times of change (conception, postpartum, peri and menopause, new diagnosis). As a trained nutritionist with a Master's in Clinical Nutrition as well as a seasoned Occupational Therapist, I have a unique understanding of the impact a foundational pillar like nutrition can have on our ability to show up and engage with the life we want to live. When we are feeling our best we are able give our best.... and I can't think of a more beautiful gift to offer the world.

We take a goal-oriented approach, balanced between the science and the art of healing and supporting the whole person with food. Sessions are always 1:1 and tailored to your needs. We look to explore and integrate movement, mindfulness, stress resilience, sleep, and connectedness as supports throughout the journey.
